- Be able to perform a physical examination of the wrist and hand, including musculoskeletal upper extremity scan
- Understand and be able to clinically apply the anatomy of the wrist and hand to the physical examination
- Describe common wrist and hand conditions including clinical presentation and diagnostic pearls for
- a. Compression neuropathies
- b. Tendinitis and tenosynovitis
- c. Osteoarthritis d. Inflammatory arthritis
- Understand conservative treatment options for the wrist and hand

- Describe common patterns of low back pain (Patterns 1-4 in CORE back tool)
- List the red flags for low back pain
- List the yellow flags for low back pain
- Describe the key features of the low back neurologic examination (e.g. reflexes, myotomes, dermatomes)
- Outline common etiologies of low back pain
- Formulate a basic evidence treatment plan for Patterns 1-4, including exercise/rehab prescription
- Describe key considerations in work/activity prescription
- Describe the common patterns of neck pain
- Describe the clinical presentation of common disorders affecting the neck
including mechanical causes, cervical sprain/strain, radiculopathy, myelopathy- List the red flags for neck pain
- Explain the importance of recognizing myelopathy, and describe the key
findings on history and examination for cervical myelopathy and cauda equina syndrome
